Privacy Policy

Link Plastic Surgery (hereinafter referred to as the “Hospital”) establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of information subjects in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act and to promptly and smoothly handle related complaints.

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information) The Hospital processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those stated below, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures will be taken, including obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Website member registration and management Personal information is processed for the purpose of confirming membership registration intentions, verifying identity/authentication for providing membership services, maintaining and managing membership qualifications, identity verification according to limited authentication requirements, preventing service misuse, confirming the consent of legal guardians for processing personal information of children under 14 years of age, various notifications, complaints handling, etc.

  2. Provision of goods or services Personal information is processed for the purpose of delivering goods, providing services, sending contracts and bills, providing content, providing customized services, authentication, age verification, fee payment and settlement, debt collection, etc.

  3. Complaint handling Personal information is processed for the purpose of confirming the identity of the complainant, confirming the details of the complaint, contacting and notifying for fact-finding, and notifying the results of processing.

Article 2 (Period of Processing and Retention of Personal Information) ① The Hospital processes and retains personal information within the period required by law for the retention and use of personal information or the period agreed upon when collecting personal information from information subjects. ② The processing and retention periods for each personal information item are as follows:

In this case, you must submit a power of attorney according to the format prescribed in Annex 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act. ⑤ Information subjects must not infringe upon the personal information and privacy of themselves or others processed by the Hospital in violation of laws related to the protection of personal information.

Article 6 (Personal Information Items Processed) The Hospital processes the following personal information items:

  1. Website member registration and management Required items: <e.g., name, date of birth, ID, password, address, phone number, gender, email address, IPIN number> Optional items: <e.g., areas of interest>

  2. The following personal information items may be automatically generated and collected during the process of using internet services. IP address, cookies, MAC address, service usage records, visit records, records of improper use, etc.

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information) ① When personal information becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period, achievement of the processing purpose, etc., the Hospital promptly destroys the relevant personal information. ② If personal information needs to be retained despite the expiration of the agreed retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose due to other laws, the Hospital transfers the relevant personal information to a separate database (DB) or retains it in a different storage location. ③ The procedure and method of personal information destruction are as follows:

  1. Destruction procedure The Hospital selects personal information for destruction and obtains approval from the Hospital’s personal information protection manager before destroying the personal information.
  2. Destruction method The Hospital destroys personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format so that it cannot be replayed using methods such as low-level formatting, and personal information recorded and stored on paper documents is shredded or incinerated for destruction.

Article 8 (Ensuring the Security of Personal Information) The Hospital takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:

  2. Technical measures: Access control of personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information, installation of security programs
  3. Physical measures: Access control to computer rooms, data storage rooms, etc.

Article 9 (Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Collection Devices for Personal Information) ① The Hospital uses ‘cookies’ to store and periodically retrieve usage information to provide individualized customized services to users. ② Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (http) operating the website to users’ computer browsers, and may also be stored on users’ hard disks. a.
