Terms of Service
Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of these terms of service is to regulate the basic matters such as rights, obligations, responsibilities, usage conditions, and procedures between members and Link Plastic Surgery (hereinafter referred to as the “Hospital”) when applying for services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by the Hospital.
Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms) ① These terms and conditions shall become effective for all members who wish to use the service. ② The contents of these terms and conditions shall be posted on the service screen or notified to the members by other means, and shall become effective when members who agree to them join the service. ③ The Hospital may amend these terms and conditions if deemed necessary, and in case of amendment, shall promptly notify as stated in paragraph 2. However, any significant changes regarding the rights or obligations of users shall be announced at least 7 days in advance. ④ If a member does not agree to the amended terms, they may discontinue the use of the service and terminate the service agreement.
Article 3 (Supplementary Provisions) Matters not specified in these terms and conditions shall be governed by the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, including medical laws.
Article 4 (Definition of Member) Those who gain membership and rights as customers by accessing the site and providing essential information such as their name and email address.
Chapter 2 Service Usage Agreement
Article 5 (Formation of Service Usage Agreement) When a customer clicks the “Agree” button in response to the question “Do you agree to the above terms of use?” during the application process, it shall be deemed that they agree to the terms.
Article 6 (Service Application) Service application or membership registration shall be conducted by customers recording the following items on the application form:
- ID
- Password
- Name
- Phone number
Article 7 (Approval of Service Application) The Hospital shall approve the service application of customers who accurately fill out the matters specified in Article 6.
Article 8 (Restrictions on Approval of Service Application) The Hospital may not approve applications that fall under the following categories:
- Cases where technical service provision is impossible
- Cases where false information is provided during user registration, such as using a false name or another person’s identity
- Cases where application information is omitted or misrepresented
- Cases where the application is made with the intent to disrupt social order or public morals
- Cases where the customer has previously lost membership due to their own fault
- Cases where the requirements for service application set by the Hospital are not met
- Cases where there is no agreement to the terms of service and privacy policy, pending membership registration
Article 9 (Changes to Contractual Matters) If there are changes to the information provided during the application process, members must modify it through the separate method and form prescribed by the Hospital.
Chapter 3 Service Usage
Article 10 (Purpose and Scope of Service Provision) The purpose of providing this service by the Hospital is to operate it free of charge for the public interest of providing medical service information offered by the Hospital. All services except for surgery reviews can be viewed without membership. Membership and login are required for surgery reviews due to medical laws.
Article 11 (Commencement of Service Use) ① The Hospital shall, in principle, commence the service from the time of approval of the member’s application. ② If the service cannot be started due to business or technical reasons of the Hospital, it shall be announced on the website or notified to the members.
Article 12 (Service Hours) ① The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in principle. However, the service may be temporarily suspended due to business or technical reasons of the Hospital, or for operational purposes as determined by the Hospital. In such cases, the Hospital shall give prior or subsequent notice. ② The Hospital may divide the service into specific ranges and specify separate times for each range, and shall announce such details.
Article 13 (Deletion of Posts or Content) ① The Hospital may delete all content (including content exchanged between members) posted or transmitted by members without prior notice if it is determined to fall under any of the following categories, and shall not be responsible for it:
- Content that defames or damages the reputation of the Hospital, other members, or third parties
- Information, sentences, graphics, etc., that violate public order and morals
- Content deemed to be associated with criminal acts
- Content that infringes on the copyrights of the Hospital or third parties
- Content unrelated to the services provided by the Hospital
- Posting unnecessary or unauthorized advertisements or promotional materials
- Content created by unauthorized use of another person’s ID (resident registration number), name, or unauthorized alteration of information entered by another person
- Posting duplicate content multiple times or content that deviates from the purpose of posting
- Cases deemed to violate other relevant laws and regulations or the guidelines of the Hospital ② The Hospital may separately establish detailed usage guidelines for posts and enforce them, and members must register or delete various posts (including those exchanged between members) according to those guidelines.
Chapter 4 Criteria for Data Disclosure
Article 14 (Definition of Data Disclosure) For the public interest purposes mentioned in Article 10 of Chapter 3, the Hospital may disclose the following items for free: ① Information related to techniques and medications used during surgery ② Treatment reviews of hospital patients (after login)
Article 15 (Methods of Data Disclosure) The methods of disclosing data that can be disclosed as mentioned in Article 14 of Chapter 4 shall be based on the following methods: ① Posting on websites or using other websites ② Inserting into printed materials or promotional materials ③ Posting via the Hospital’s internal video equipment ④ Other methods determined by the Hospital within the scope not conflicting with social norms
Chapter 5 Compensation for Damages, etc.
Article 16 (Damages Compensation) ① If a member causes damages to the Hospital due to a violation of these terms, the member who violated the terms shall compensate the Hospital for all damages incurred. ② If the Hospital receives claims for damages compensation or various objections including lawsuits from third parties other than the member due to illegal acts or violations of these terms in using the service, the member shall exempt the Hospital from liability at their own responsibility and expense. If the Hospital is not exempt from liability, the member shall compensate the Hospital for all damages incurred.
Article 17 (Exemption Clauses) ① The Hospital shall be exempted from liability for providing services in case of force majeure or circumstances equivalent thereto. ② The Hospital shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by the member’s fault. ③ The Hospital shall not be liable for the loss of expected profits or any other damages incurred through the use of the service. The Hospital shall not be responsible for the reliability, accuracy, and content of information, data, and facts posted by members on the site. ④ The Hospital shall have no obligation to intervene in disputes between members or between members and third parties mediated through the service, and shall not be liable for any damages arising therefrom.
Article 18 (Jurisdiction) ① In the event of a dispute between the Hospital and a member regarding the use of the service, the Hospital and the member shall sincerely consult to resolve the dispute. ② If the dispute is not resolved through the consultation under paragraph 1, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Effective Date: June 20, 2011 These terms shall be effective from June 20, 2011, until new terms are announced.
